Fir Tree Campground
Located next to a valley and surrounded by a forest, Fir Tree Campground (월계수 캠핑장) offers an exceptional camping experience for every nature lover and camping enthusiast. Situated in the mountainous region of Gyeongju city in North Gyeongsang province, the campground is approximately 41 kilometers from Gyeongju City Hall.
The journey to the campground is a scenic drive along Ganpo Industrial Road, Danseok Road, and Moonbok Road, taking around 50 minutes. Thanks to its proximity to a valley, Fir Tree Campground is an ideal location for combining water play and camping during the holiday season. Moreover, the forest surrounding the campground adds a refreshing touch to the camping experience.
Facilities and Features
- The campground has 32 car camping sites, with 27 sites paved with crushed stones and 5 deck sites. Each site measures 7m by 8m.
- Free access for personal trailers and caravans.
- Dogs (small breeds only) are allowed.
- Camping equipment, such as reel lines and grills, are available for rent at the management office.
The campground operates throughout the week and takes a brief break from January to February every year. The Fir Tree Campground is in close proximity to several attractions, including the Danseoksan district of Gyeongju National Park and Unmunsan National Recreation Forest. With numerous restaurants nearby, you can also venture out to find your favorite dishes.
