Mungyeong Leisure Tour Campground
Mungyeong Leisure Tour Campground, an expansive auto campground nestled deep in the forest, is located in Maseong-ri, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The campground is approximately 12km from Mungyeong City Hall, reachable by car via Danggyo and Jinnam 1-gil in approximately 10 minutes.
The campground is situated on the Yeong River, which originates from Sobaeksan and flows into Nakdong River. Further, it is located next to Jinnam Bridge, one of the eight scenic beauties of Gyeongsangbuk-do, offering visual pleasure to its visitors.
Following the winding path behind the store, campers are welcomed into the general campground spread wide in the deep forest. The sites, nestled among the pine trees, are composed of 20 grassy areas and 10 deck areas. The campground operates year-round, and reservations can be made in real time online through their website.
The management office provides rental services for camping equipment such as tents and fire pits. Another advantage is that pets are allowed. There are plenty of tourist attractions in the vicinity, including Jinnamgyoban next to the campground, Gomosanseong Fortress, and Mungyeong Saejae Provincial Park. There are also numerous Korean and Chinese restaurants in the vicinity.
