Under the Clouds Camping Ground
Under the Clouds Camping Ground, or 구름아래 캠핑장, is a fortress-like auto camping site nestled in the heart of the forest. It’s located in Unmun-myeon, Cheongdo County, North Gyeongsang Province, about 41 kilometers away from Cheongdo County Office. By driving through Cheongrye-ro and Unmun-ro, you can reach this beautiful nature retreat within approximately an hour.
The site is strategically situated near Samgye-ri Valley, one of Cheongdo’s representative valleys, forming a sort of fortress in the forest. Thanks to the densely grown trees, one need not fear the scorching summer sun. The site offers 67 auto camping spots, all gravel-based.
