Welcome to House by the Museum, a hidden gem located on the opposite side of the Korea Bamboo Museum. As a tourist, you’re in for a treat with our delicious and unique menu options.
One of our standout dishes is the tteokgalbi, grilled short rib meat patties that are simply mouthwatering. Made with minced lean meat, green onion, onion, bulgogi sauce, and sesame oil, the combination of flavors creates a tender and unforgettable taste. Not only is it a delight for your taste buds, but it also provides essential fatty acids from the sesame oil that beautifully complements the beef.
Another must-try dish is our Daetongbap, rice cooked in a bamboo. This wholesome meal is made with rice, millet, beans, sorghum, jujube, nuts, and more, creating a healthy and fragrant experience. Accompanying the Daetongbap are over 10 side dishes, including Tohajeot (salt-fermented toha shrimp), juksun deulkkae muchim (seasoned vegetables with perilla seeds and bamboo shoots), gejang muchim (marinated crab), and so much more. The variety of flavors and textures will surely satisfy your cravings.
To end your meal on a sweet note, we offer bamboo blade tea, a clean and refreshing dessert that perfectly complements your dining experience.
