Nestled in the heart of the city, Hanok 1957 has meticulously restored a traditional hanok house, showcasing the beauty of red pine, red clay, and straw walls, adorned with elegant roof tiles.

As you step into Hanok 1957, you will be captivated by its U-shaped layout, featuring nine distinct sections, including the main hall (Anchae) and separate quarters (Haengrangchae). With a total of five guest rooms, each designed in the ondol style, we provide a cozy and comfortable haven for two to three guests. However, if you are traveling with a larger group, our Daemunchae, Geonneobang, Sarangbang, and Anbang rooms can accommodate more guests.

Inside your guest room, you will discover the intricate beauty of traditional Korean architecture, from the intricately carved rafters and beams to the cabinets inlaid with mother-of-pearl. For your convenience, each guest room is equipped with a private bathroom.

While cooking is not permitted in the guest rooms, our common kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a refrigerator, water purifier, microwave, and cooking utensils. Feel free to prepare simple meals and enjoy them in our communal dining area.
