Originally established to honor the brave actions of Yakpo Jeong Tak, who saved the life of Admiral Yi Sunsin, Dojeongseowon is located amidst the serene beauty of Naeseongcheon Stream and surrounded by the majestic mountains. As you step foot into this tranquil haven, you will be transported back in time to an era when scholars would gather here to engage in intellectual discussions and pursue knowledge.
Our accommodations consist of four rooms, each offering a distinct experience. The Lecture Hall, situated on a stone pedestal, provides a panoramic view of the Naeseongcheon Stream and boasts a spacious hall where scholars once engaged in lively debates. With a floor area of approximately 100㎡, this room is perfect for workshops and group trips.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the Euphojeong Pavilion awaits. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Naeseongcheon Stream, this room offers a breathtaking view and the soothing sounds of water rushing below. It was reserved for esteemed guests of the academy, and you’ll feel honored to be part of this legacy.
The Dongjae and Seojae dormitories, complete with private bathrooms, provide comfort and convenience to our guests. Meanwhile, the Ipdeokru Pavilion serves as a seminar room that can accommodate up to 30 people. From there, you can enjoy a mesmerizing view of the Naeseongcheon Stream flowing gracefully around the mountain.
