The Quirky Reading Cultural Experience Campsite, located in Beopwon-eup, Paju City, is an innovative camping site that repurposes a closed school. Since its opening in July 2017, it has been operating various programs for group visitors, including career reading camps for students and family reading camps.

Campsite Details

  • The campsite consists of 6 grass sites and 17 sites made of crushed stone and decks. Tables and chairs are furnished in the crushed stone sites.
  • Parking is available for up to 33 vehicles.
  • Facilities include male and female restrooms, restrooms for the disabled, showers, and lockers.
  • The Quirky Lawn Yard and Forest Library are freely accessible.
  • The classroom inside the Forest Library is available for a fee of 30,000 KRW. However, groups of 10 or more campsites can use the classroom for free.
  • The Geumgok Small Library has over 400 books. It is open from 12pm to 6pm from Tuesday to Friday and from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. Campers can use the library until 10pm.
