The Jaksunjeong Starlight Campsite is a camping paradise nestled in the foothills of the Youngnam Alps, specifically between the peaks of Sinbulsan (1,159m) and Ganwolsan (1,069m). This campsite offers the unique experience of camping amidst a clear and clean valley, originating from the Hongryu and Ganwol waterfalls, known as the Jaksunjeong Valley. The dilemma for campers here is often whether to settle near the refreshing pine forests or the clear valley, both equally tempting with their distinct charms.
Features of the Jaksunjeong Starlight Campsite
The Jaksunjeong Starlight Campsite is divided into two distinct areas. The first, known as the Jaksunjeong Valley campsite, follows the length of the valley and offers auto camping facilities. The second, the Starlight campsite, is located amidst the dense and cool pine forest.
The campsite is designed with harmony in mind, bringing together grass and trees in a visually pleasing manner. It consists of 20 auto camping sites and 25 general camping sites with separate parking areas. All 45 sites are deck-built, with the Starlight campsite offering three different sizes of small, medium, and large campsites.
As a modern campsite, Jaksunjeong Starlight Campsite is equipped with clean and convenient facilities. It boasts a grass plaza, a multi-purpose plaza, a waterfront promenade, and a deck observatory. This well-equipped campsite ensures a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience for all visitors. In addition, there are several famous tourist sites nearby, including Jaksunjeong, Deungeok Hot Springs, and Jasujeong Cave Country.
