Solhyanggi Camping Ground
The Solhyanggi Camping Ground, which translates to “Pine Scented Camping Ground,” is a hidden gem located in the mountains near the Manripo Beach in Taean County, Chungnam Province. This serene camping spot is approximately 16 kilometers away from the Taean County Office and can be reached within a short 25-minute drive. The camping ground is nestled within the lush greenery of the mountains, but fear not, it is just a short climb up a gentle slope from the main road.
What to Expect
One of the advantages of this location is its proximity to the beach, making it an excellent choice for those who wish to beat the summer heat by taking a dip in the ocean. The camping ground itself offers 33 general camping sites with fences installed on three sides of the deck, providing the privacy that many campers crave.
The space between each site is quite broad, ensuring a private camping experience. The camping ground also provides two separate restroom and shower facilities for men and women, and two washing stations. For those who prefer a more comfortable camping experience, personal caravans and trailers are allowed, but prior confirmation with the management office is required. The management office also offers rental of almost all camping necessities, from tents to sleeping bags.
