Heavenly Garden Campsite, also known as 하늘정원캠핑장 in Korean, is a charming camping site located on Donggeomdo, a small island just off Ganghwa Island. With a panoramic view of the West Sea and a breathtaking sunset, this camping site offers an unforgettable experience for all nature and camping lovers.
Location and Accessibility
The camping site is easily accessible by crossing a bridge to Donggeomdo. As soon as you reach the end point of the bridge, simply head up the hill on the left. Look out for a signboard named “Heavenly Garden” at the entrance, making the site easy to locate. This campsite is part of a larger facility that also includes a tourist farm and a pension, all boasting fantastic views.
The Experience
The campsite is situated at the beginning of the hill on Donggeomdo, which gives campers an uninterrupted view of the entire southern coast of Ganghwa Island. The site offers a clear view of the West Sea, and the sunset scenery is particularly stunning. All sites are designed for auto camping and are spacious.
