Seokmun Auto Campsite, deeply nestled in the mountains, is a quiet and cozy camping ground where one can enjoy nature in peace.
Introduction
Located in Chunyang-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Seokmun Auto Campsite is about 33km away from Bonghwa County Office. The campsite can be reached within approximately 40 minutes by car via Pintopia, Chunyang-ro, and Seokmun-dong. Given its secluded location in the mountains, it is an ideal place for a calm and relaxed camping experience.
The campsite offers 25 general camping sites, each measuring 6m in width and 8m in length. There are 20 sites with crushed stone and 5 with decks. Facilities include a barbecue grill, electricity, and wireless internet. Personal trailers and caravans are allowed with fees equivalent to those of the general camping area. Grills can be rented from the management office.
While the campsite operates throughout the year without breaks, reservations are only accepted by phone. Although there is no convenience store within the campsite, a supermarket can be found within a 15-minute drive. Nearby attractions include the National Baekdudaegan Arboretum and Bonghwa Pine Forest. There is also a Rainbow Restaurant where you can enjoy dishes like pork belly and pork cutlet.
