Seed Valley Campground: A Spacious Camping Experience in the Forest
The Seed Valley Campground is situated in the heart of the Sangdang District in Cheongju City, North Chungcheong Province. The campground is a comfortable 30-minute journey from Cheongju City Hall, accessible via the Sanseong 1st tunnel and Hojeong intersection. The wide open space in front of the operator’s residence serves as the camping ground, providing a serene setting for campers.
Features and Benefits
The Seed Valley Campground offers a unique camping experience. Surrounded on three sides by a lush forest, the campground is filled with refreshing tranquility. Water flows from the mountains behind into a stream that runs through the campground, adding to the overall calming atmosphere. The campground consists of 21 general camping sites, each measuring 7m x 8m, allowing plenty of space for a relaxing camping experience. Moreover, trees have been planted around each site, providing shade and protection from the harsh summer sun.
Although there is no convenience store on-site, firewood necessary for the fireplace is sold at the management office. The site includes bathroom facilities, showers, and a sink in one building, making it easily accessible from any site within the campground.
