Introduction
Welcome to the heart of Korean countryside cuisine, the Riverside Restaurant, or “Gangbyeon Sikdang” (강변식당). Set in a rustic village near the flowing waters of the Salt River (소금강) in the Yeongok District of Gangneung, Gangwon Province (강원 강릉시 연곡면 진고개로1736), this gem is where the love of nature and the passion of local farmers meet in harmony.
Operating Hours
Gangbyeon Sikdang (강변식당) operates all year round (“sangsi unyeong” 상시운영). From March to November, we welcome guests from 10:30am to 8:00pm, and from December to February, from 10:30am till 7:00pm. Please note that we are closed on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, with no closures in July and August.
