For all the nature enthusiasts out there, nestled on the slopes of the Sobeksan Mountain, lies the perfect getaway for a honey-like rest in the heart of pristine nature. Welcome to the Yecheon County Insect Land Apple Theme Park Auto Camping Ground.
Located within the Sobeksan National Park in Yecheon County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the camping ground is easily accessible via the central expressway’s Pungi IC. A 7km drive towards the National Forest Healing Center will lead you to the Yecheon Insect Ecological Park. The camping ground entrance arrives after a 2km journey along the road, making a right turn before crossing the bridge past the ecological park.
The camping ground is conveniently situated near the Baekseok reservoir. It has a total of 20 sites, including 16 deck sites for auto camping and 5 gravel sites. During the summer, a swimming pool is in operation, and a walking trail around Baekseok Reservoir allows you to take a leisurely stroll while breathing in the fresh air.
The camping ground is surrounded by attractions such as Insect Land Apple Theme Park, National Forest Healing Center, Yecheon Insect Ecological Park, Hwiryongpo, and Samgang Jumak, making it easy to enjoy a variety of activities. There are also restaurants and a mart in the town where Yecheon County Office is located.
