The Rest & Rock Camping Site, or 휴앤락캠핑장 in Korean, is a tranquil auto-camping site nestled in the serene mountains of Seokjang-dong, Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang Province. Just about 5 kilometers from Gyeongju City Hall. A 15-minute drive along Yongdam-ro, Geumjang 1-gil, Dongdae-ro, and Seokhyeon-ro will lead you to this haven. Despite being in the lowlands, the views overlooking from this place are absolutely stunning.
Campsite Features
Adding to the appeal of this location are its clean amenities such as showers and toilets which seem to be well-maintained. The camping site is furnished with 64 gravel-floored auto-campsites. The site sizes vary from 8m by 9m (38 sites), 7m by 10m (21 sites), and 12m by 12m (5 sites).
You have the freedom to bring personal trailers and caravans, and even your furry friends are allowed here. Camping equipment like reel lines and heaters are available for rent at the management office.
