Hupo Forest Campsite
Hupo Forest Campsite, or 후평숲캠핑장 as it is known in Korean, is a refreshing campsite surrounded by a variety of trees. This serene location is nestled in Cheongcheon-myeon, Goesan-gun, Chungbuk, about 23km from the Goesan County Office. Accessible by car via Goesan Road, Geumgyeong Road, and Goseong Road, the journey to the campsite takes approximately 40 minutes.
Facilities and Services
The campsite is located in Hupo Forest, a beautiful woodland that offers ample shade, making it a perfect retreat even in the scorching summer heat. The campsite has 50 general camping sites. Each site, paved with crushed stone, measures 5m in width and 10m in length. Personal caravans and trailers are allowed, and pets, specifically small dogs, are permitted.
For those who do not have camping equipment, the management office offers rentals for tents, power cords, and barbecues. All you need to bring are your utensils, cooking tools, and food. In addition, the campsite features amenities such as a cafe, a water play area, walking trails, trampolines, and a playground. The campsite is open all year round from spring to winter, including overnight stays in winter. Reservations can be made online in real-time.
