Under the Mountain Camping Ground
Under the Mountain Camping Ground, or “San Arae Campingjang”, is a serene retreat nestled in the Buseok-myeon, Yeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It’s a camping site where you can commune with nature and enjoy the tranquility it offers. The campsite is approximately 33km away from Yeongju City Hall, or about a 45-minute drive via Seowon-ro, Uisang-ro, and Yeongbu-ro. Surrounded by mountains and facing a clear stream, the campsite creates a quiet and cozy atmosphere, ideal for campers seeking a peaceful getaway.
Facilities and Features
The camping ground has five general campsites made of crushed stone. Each site measures 7m by 7m, providing ample space for campers. Personal trailers are allowed, but caravans are not. Campers can take advantage of a fireplace and electricity. The campsite operates in spring, summer, and fall, and takes a break from November to March. Reservations can only be made via phone call. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
