Marunori: A Camping Site Filled with Vibrant Experiences
Marunori, which can be loosely translated to ‘Flowing Hill’, is a camping site located in Jijeong-myeon, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do. Conveniently reachable within approximately 10 minutes from the Dongyangpyeong IC on the Gwangju-Wonju Expressway towards Yangdong and Danseok-ri, Marunori is a haven for campers and nature enthusiasts.
Campsite Overview
Marunori offers a total of 40 auto camping spaces and 4 glamping locations. The auto camping spaces are equipped with electricity and fire pits for usage, along with designated restrooms, showers, and water supply facilities. The glamping spots, on the other hand, are two-story structures. The first floor houses cooking utensils, tableware, tables, chairs, heating and cooling systems, and a sink. The second floor is dedicated to bedrooms. Toilets and showers are separately located for individual use.
Experiences and Facilities
Marunori offers a multitude of experiences that campers can enjoy. Themed experiences include patisserie lessons, horse riding, traditional Korean music and dance, and nature and wildlife experiences. The wildlife experiences include catching fish, off-road ATV rides, and campfires. Additional facilities include a swimming pool, trampoline, playground, and a sports field. A convenience store on the site sells camping supplies, food, and bottled water.
