Jirisan Cheonwangbong Campground
Escape the smog and breathe in the fresh air at the Jirisan Cheonwangbong Campground, located on Jirisan Road in Namwon. Nestled in an intimate 700㎡ area, this campsite features 25 crushed rock sites.
The campsites are divided into areas for medium-sized tents and large tents. There is shade for the medium-sized tent areas, however, the larger tent areas lack shade, so it is recommended to bring your own. Situated below the campground is a wide stream perfect for cooling off. With shallow waters, it is safe for children to play. There are places nearby that rent out water play equipment, however, it is recommended to bring your own tubes or life jackets as supplies can run low.
The Jirisan Cheonwangbong Campground also operates a pension and restaurant. The pension can accommodate large groups and the restaurant serves a menu of nutritious local dishes like native chicken soup.
