Jingyeongwon Camping Site
Jingyeongwon Camping Site, or 진경원민박캠핑장 in Korean, is a unique blend of a traditional ecological park and a regular camping site located in Sungsung-myeon, Dangjin City, in the province of Chungnam.
Location and Accessibility
Starting from Dangjin City Hall, the camping site is approximately 13km away. It takes about 30 minutes by car, heading south and tracing through Tullmosi-ro and Sungsung-ro. Once you reach the destination, you are greeted by a vast space filled with well-maintained lawns and an ecological park, all set within the tranquility of the countryside.

- The site does not have a designated size, so it’s spacious enough to set up even large tents.
- Personal trailers and caravans are allowed.
- Pets, specifically small dogs, are permitted.
- Shower facilities and restrooms are regularly maintained, ensuring cleanliness at all times.
- Although there is no on-site convenience store, a supermarket is within close proximity, making it convenient for campers.
- Free life counseling is provided, and traditional Korean-style guesthouse accommodations are available.

There are plenty of attractions surrounding the campsite, including the Ami Art Museum, Ami Mountain, and Myeoncheon Reservoir, which are some of the most representative tourist spots in Dangjin. There are also numerous restaurants in the direction of the Sungsung-myeon office.
