The Jechon Sky Terrace Seoul Campsite is a unique camping site, remodeled from an abandoned school, and offers rental tents for campers. It is located in Songhak-myeon, Jecheon, Chungbuk.

Getting There

The campsite is about 14km from Jecheon City Hall, roughly a 20-minute drive through Wondal-ro, Jecheon-ro, and Songhak River Road.

Facilities and Amenities

The former school buildings now house a range of facilities including a management office, convenience store, communal facilities, restrooms, shower rooms, a baduk (Korean board game) classroom, and a small library. The old playground now accommodates 20 rental tents. Each tent comes with a mattress and grill stand, so campers only need to bring their additional camping gear. Each site provides electricity and wireless internet. Do note that the campsite operates only in spring, summer, and autumn, and is closed from early December to the end of February.

Reservations can be made in real-time online. The campsite is conveniently located near Pinocchio Natural Recreation Forest, Songhak Mountain, and Gamak Mountain, making it easy for campers to engage in tourist activities. There are also several restaurants near the Songhak-myeon office. A popular nearby activity during the summer is water play.
