Ice Valley Campsite (Eoreumgol Camping Ground)
Renowned for its splendid view overlooking the Ice Valley and Pumpkin Island, the Ice Valley Campsite is situated in one of the most picturesque spots of the Yeongnam Alps. Nestled at an altitude of 400 meters on the slopes of Mt. Gajisan, the campsite offers a truly exceptional panorama.
Getting There
Following the road that leads to the Yeongnam Alps Ice Valley Cable Car, you’ll pass Nammyeong Junction and continue past Sannaenammyeong Elementary School. From there, follow the Hayangji Road into the mountain village. As you ascend, you’ll pass the White Welfare Hall and upon making a left turn, an elegant Korean traditional house (Hanok) appears beneath the majestic mountain peaks. This is the Ice Valley Hanok Pension. Its courtyard houses a swimming pool, seemingly suspended among the clouds, harmoniously blending with the surrounding scenery.
Ice Valley Campsite Layout
The campsite is separately located behind the Hanok Pension. It is equipped with 21 sites, 3 camping pods, and 1 bungalow-style accommodation. Each site is partitioned for a serene and private camping experience. An additional swimming pool offers great views and is perfectly positioned for enjoyment.
