Yellow Mountain Culture and Sports Park National Leisure Campground
The Yellow Mountain Culture and Sports Park National Leisure Campground, or Hwangsan Cultural Sports Park National Leisure Campground as known in Korean, is a family-friendly campground known for its beautiful natural landscapes along the Nakdong River. It’s a popular destination for camping enthusiasts from Gyeongnam, Busan, and Ulsan regions and is also referred to as a “luxury park campground”.
Facilities and Amenities
The campground features 36 auto camping sites and 75 general camping sites. It’s well-equipped with clean and well-maintained facilities such as bathrooms, showers, and water fountains. Beyond camping, the Yellow Mountain Culture and Sports Park also offers a variety of recreational facilities including a park golf course, a cycling path, a riverside walking trail, and other sports facilities. The park is so vast that it takes about 3 hours to explore it all. It’s a great place for kids to run around and enjoy outdoor activities such as kickboarding, inline skating, and cycling. Plus, there are playgrounds with play equipment and large swings scattered across the park.
Reservation and Entrance Rules
The campground operates on an online reservation system. Upon entry, your identity will be verified by your ID. If the person entering is not the one who made the reservation, entry may be restricted. So, don’t forget to bring your ID! For safety and relaxation, vehicle operation and musical instrument playing are prohibited within the campground from 22:00 to 07:00, so please be mindful of this rule.
