Hakampo Auto Campground
Located on the beautiful shores of Hakampo Beach, the Hakampo Auto Campground is a haven for camping enthusiasts and nature lovers. Nestled within the heart of Taean County, this campground offers a unique blend of serene nature and vibrant Korean culture.
Getting There
The campground is situated in Wonbuk-myeon, Taean County, Chungnam, about 24km from the Taean County Office. The journey to the campsite, passing through the Seohae-ro, Woniro, and Okparo roads, takes approximately 35 minutes by car.
The Campground
The campsite, designed along Hakampo Beach, allows for a perfect combination of camping and beach fun during the summer vacation season. The campground features 100 camping sites made of crushed stones. The site dimensions and quantities are 3m by 4m with 84 sites. In addition to these, there are 16 caravan and trailer sites. The fee for using the caravan and trailer sites is the same as the regular camping site fee. Amenities include a barbecue area and electricity. The campground operates year-round, and reservations can only be made online in real-time. The camp store operates temporarily from July to August. Please note that pets are not allowed in the campground.

There are numerous tourist attractions in proximity to the campground, which makes sightseeing a breeze. Attractions include the Taean Sinduri Coastal Sand Dune, the Solhyang-gil trail, and more. You can also savor the taste of the local cuisine at the Wonpung Restaurant, which is famous for its Bak-Sok Mil-Guk-Nakji-Tang.
