Gomokjeong: A Scenic Camping Site Alongside the Chilgap Reservoir
Gomokjeong is a captivating campsite located in Daechi-myeon, Cheongyang-gun, in the province of Chungnam. It is situated around 7km from Cheongyang County Office, making it an easy 15-minute drive via the Culture Art Road, Daecheong Road, and Chilgapsan Road. The campsite’s prime location near the Chilgap Reservoir offers campers an unrivalled, picturesque view, providing a soothing balm to the senses, regardless of the chosen site.
Adding to the charm, the campsite is also an excellent viewing point for guests interested in water sports. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even partake in some of the water activities on offer. The campsite features ten standard camping spots, seven with deck floors and three with crushed stone surfaces. There are two separate restroom and shower facilities for men and women, and one dishwashing station, all of which are regularly maintained to ensure cleanliness.
