Moonsoo Mountain Campsite
Sharing the hiking trail with Seokpo Park, Moonsoo Mountain Campsite is a peaceful haven nestled amidst lush forests and two artificial lakes. Conveniently located in Mok-ri, Ido-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, this campsite is a perfect getaway for those in need of serene healing time, within close proximity to Seoul.
The campsite is adorned with two large lakes, which were once temporarily operated as a fish farm. Today, these lakes enhance the beauty of the campsite, merging seamlessly with the stunning natural landscape. The ground is made up of crushed stone and a wooden deck, with the sizes varying between 7m x 8m and 6m x 8m. A total of 20 sites are currently being operated, each offering a mesmerizing view of the lake from the wooden deck. The campsite does not accept additional people beyond families. In the summer, a swimming pool is operated, and all shared facilities are clean, with all necessary items well stocked.
Upon checking in at the management office (entrance guide), you can enter the campsite. Although a separate store is operated, it is recommended to bring all necessary items. The campsite can be used in conjunction with the surrounding Seokpo Forest Park walkway and hiking trail, making it an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
