Medicinal Water Village Auto Camping Ground
The Medicinal Water Village Auto Camping Ground, or 약수골 캠프촌 오토캠핑장, is an oasis of serene tranquility nestled in Dong-myeon, Yanggu-gun, Gangwon-do province. To reach this idyllic spot, exit at the Chuncheon IC on the Central Expressway, pass through the Baehuryeong Tunnel, and proceed until the Hwanggang Tunnel.
Following the well-maintained country road, you’ll find the auto camping ground on your right; and if you venture further uphill, you’ll discover the forest camping ground. Surrounded by mountains, the auto camping ground offers a serene atmosphere. Various plants, including trees and sunflowers, have been planted around the camping area, further enhancing its natural charm.
Facilities and Amenities
Between the eight auto camping sites, posts have been installed for setting up hammocks. The ample space between each site allows for a private camping experience. Inside the seven caravans, you’ll find beds, heating and cooling systems, sinks, refrigerators, TVs, cooking utensils, dishes, bathrooms, and showers. Outdoor space is equipped with tables and chairs under a shade. The management office, which doubles as a convenience store, offers camping supplies for sale or rent.
