Located as the first site upstream of Damter Valley, Under the Mountain Camping Site operates as both a campsite and a pension. Covering an area of 8,925㎡, the campsite consists of four pension buildings and 32 auto camping sites. All sites are made of crushed stones and boast ample sizes in width and length. A majority of the sites are shaded by trees, ensuring a refreshing camping experience even in the hot summer. The campsite is fully equipped with Wi-Fi zones and each site has an electric outlet for convenient camping.
Surrounded by a beautiful natural environment, the campsite features lush trees and a valley stream flowing along the rock formations. The shallow depth of the stream allows children to enjoy playing in the water. At night, the clear air enables campers to observe numerous stars in the sky.
Under the Mountain Camping Site also has a coupon system, offering a 10kg bag of local specialty Cheorwon Odae rice after five visits, and a free night’s stay plus an additional 10kg bag of Cheorwon Odae rice after ten visits. Regular customers should take advantage of this benefit.
