Hans Village
If you’re looking to experience the joys of nature, Hans Village is the camping site you need to visit. Nestled in the Ga-gok district of Danyang County, Chungbuk, this site offers a natural fortress-like setting with mountains surrounding it from all sides. The location allows a comfortable and serene camping experience, with the added benefit of a nearby stream for a refreshing dip during the hot summer months.
The journey to Hans Village from Danyang County Hall takes around 20 minutes by car, passing through Byeolgok 3-ro, Namhangang-ro, and Saebat-ro. Once you reach the destination, you’ll find 32 general camping sites paved with crushed stones. No matter which site you choose to stay at, you’ll find easy access to restrooms, showers, and water faucets.
The hours for hot water use in the showers are from 6 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 9 pm. Electricity is available for use with certain items like electric mats, laptops, and radios. However, appliances that consume a significant amount of electricity such as refrigerators, electric heaters, and halogen lamps are prohibited. If these items are essential for your camping trip, you can inform the management office and pay an additional fee. Failure to do so will result in a fine.
