A Beautiful Meld of Nature
The Paju Gisan Camp is an excellent camping site for nature enthusiasts. It offers a great location to enjoy the natural beauty of nearby areas such as Jangheung, Songchu, and Paju. With mountains, valleys, and lakes nearby and walking trails prepared, Paju Gisan Camp is perfect for a family outing. Specifically, the Majang Lake Swing Bridge is located right next to the camp, providing a great spot for a stroll. What’s more, it’s just a 30-minute drive from Seoul, making it a conveniently accessible camping ground.
Well-Structured Campsite
The campsite at Paju Gisan Camp is divided into three sections, consisting of 37 sites in total. Each site is beautifully shaded by the lush forest on either side, creating a lovely outdoor setting. At the most secluded part of the camp, there is a traditional Korean pension house. The grounds are made of crushed stones which ensures efficient drainage. Facilities such as restrooms, showers, and water fountains are conveniently located in the management building.
Facilities and Services
In addition to the natural beauty and structured campsite, Paju Gisan Camp also offers a variety of facilities and services for the convenience of campers. During the summer season, a water playground is operational, perfect for children to enjoy themselves. In the management building, there’s a small convenience store selling alcohol, beverages, firewood, charcoal, butane gas, grills, and ice. If you can’t find what you need at the camp’s convenience store, there’s another just a five-minute walk away.
