Tohamsan Natural Recreation Forest
With its base nestled at the foot of Tohamsan Mountain, the Tohamsan Natural Recreation Forest is a camping site that embraces the essence of nature. Located in Yangbuk-myeon, Gyeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, it is approximately 25km away from the Gyeongju City Hall. A 40-minute car ride via the Kyungam-ro, Bobul-ro, and Bulgu-ro will take you straight to the heart of this natural haven.
This eco-friendly camping site is set within the refreshing confines of the Tohamsan Natural Recreation Forest. Thanks to its location, campers can immerse themselves in a nature-friendly camping experience. The site is a popular destination for those who wish to combine light mountain trekking or forest bathing with their camping adventure. Various conifers and deciduous trees, as well as a variety of wildlife, make it an ideal outdoor learning site.
The campsite provides 40 general camping grounds. All grounds feature a deck, with sizes ranging from 3m x 3.5m to 4.7m x 4.2m. East of the campsite are attractions such as the Gampo Beach, Yangnam Columnar Joint, and the Tomb of King Munmu in Yangbuk. To the west lie Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, and Bomun Complex. A variety of restaurants are also operating nearby for the convenience of visitors.
