The Gyemyeongsan Natural Recreation Forest Campsite is the perfect spot for those who wish to commune with nature in a tranquil and comfortable setting. Located in Gilan-myeon, Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, this camping ground is easily accessible, being a mere 33km away from Andong City Hall.
Getting There
The journey to the campsite takes roughly 40 minutes by car, traversing through Namsoo Circular Road, Chungyo Road, and Goran Road sequentially. Nestled within the mountains of Gyemyeongsan, this location promises a serene and restful experience for all camping enthusiasts.
Facilities
The campsite features 17 general campgrounds, designed with decks. The site sizes vary, with dimensions of 2.4m x 2.4m, 2.4m x 4.8m and 3.6m x 4.0m, offering ample and comfortable spacing for campers. Please note that the entrance of personal trailers or caravans, as well as the use of fire pits, is not permitted. The campsite operates throughout all four seasons and accepts reservations online in real-time only. As there is no store on-site, campers are advised to purchase necessary items in advance.

The campsite’s surrounding area is dotted with tourist spots such as the Mugye Seowon and Andong Kim’s Mugye Jongtaek. Food lovers can also visit the famous Korean restaurant, Sambujasang.
