Introducing Chukryeongsan Natural Recreation Forest Campsite
For lovers of Korean culture and nature, there’s a hidden gem nestled within the pine forests of Sudong-myeon in Namyangju City, not too far from Seoul. This is the Chukryeongsan Natural Recreation Forest Campsite, a place where you can enjoy a healing retreat under the cool shade of beautiful pine trees, enveloped in their soothing aroma.
Delving Into The Campsite
The campsite is divided into four sections: campgrounds 1, 2, 3, and 4. The first three are adjacent to each other, while the fourth is a bit further off, conveniently located closer to the car park. Given the ample space between decks, campers won’t be bothered by each other. However, due to the slope on which the decks are built, packing light is advisable for ease of moving your belongings.
Facilities and Services
Featuring clean bathrooms and showers with plentiful hot water, the campsite offers comfortable amenities. During the summer, the water playground beneath the campground becomes a popular spot for kids. The forest interpretation center also provides free forest interpretation services for those who have made advance reservations. One of the biggest perks of this campsite is its affordability, with an overnight stay costing just 4,000 Won.
