Namwon Natural Recreation Forest
The Namwon Natural Recreation Forest camping site is located within Cheongryong Mountain and is an ideal place to enjoy camping amidst the unique scenery of a pine forest and fresh air. The camping sites are all decked and each site has railings for safety and privacy. The facilities are well maintained, clean, and sturdy, as they have been recently renovated. You can use the comfortable and clean shower room and toilet facilities.

The shower room, which exudes a warm water, boasts a charming interior that combines traditional Korean and modern designs. At the convenience store, you can purchase drinks, alcohol, snacks, miscellaneous goods, and camping fuel. The wooden building with white windmills harmonizes with the mountain scenery and soothes the mind. A clear valley flows next to the deck, and you can hike in the recreation forest while listening to the sound of the water.
Cheongryong Mountain climbing is a course that takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip, and the sunrise is spectacular. Next to the grass site, there is a chicken coop, and in the morning, it crows so loudly that you won’t need an alarm clock.
