Arboretum Provence Campground, or “수목원프로방스 캠핑장” as it is known in Korean, is a unique camping site where you can experience more than one kind of happiness.
Introduction
Nestled on the slopes of Soyosan and Wangbangsan, the campground is located within an arboretum boasting over a million pine and nut pine trees. It’s a place where one can breathe in the phytoncides emitted by these trees while camping, a kind of two-for-one deal for health and relaxation.
The awe-inspiring beauty of the Arboretum Provence Campground is not limited to any particular season. The gardens are meticulously adorned according to various themes and are home to various sculptures that will leave you in constant admiration. The diverse, beautiful flowers and birds that each season brings are more than enough to provide campers with a sense of healing and peace.
There are a variety of themed sites built around various tree species such as nut pine trees, plum trees, and stone pear trees. The campground is also known for the abundance that nature offers, such as the cool valley that flows through the valley site. The clear and shallow valley water is home to freshwater clams, providing an opportunity for children to experience nature and play in the water. The sound of laughter from children as they catch dragonflies and sand bugs echoes throughout the campground.
