People & Dog Zelkova Camping Ground
The People & Dog Zelkova Camping Ground, or “피플앤독 느티캠핑장” in Korean, is a peaceful retreat nestled in the heart of the Yeasan-gun region. Located about 10 kilometers from the Yeasan County Office, this unique campsite offers a harmonious mix of companionship with pets, people, and the great outdoors.
Getting There
Traveling to the campsite is a breeze. A quick 15-minute drive through Hyungjae Pass, Chadong Road, and Bulwon Gwigok Road will lead you straight to it. The journey is as delightful as the destination, taking you through serene country roads that set the tone for a relaxing camping experience.
The Campsite
The campsite is a remodeled abandoned school, complete with a sports field and a magnificent Zelkova tree at its heart. It’s designed to accommodate pet owners, with 25 general camping sites available. These sites are divided into 14 gravel and 11 deck areas, with sizes of 6m x 8m and 6m x 6m respectively. The campsite also welcomes personal trailers and caravans, making it a versatile choice for all camping enthusiasts.

There’s no shortage of local attractions either. The campsite is conveniently located near the Ye Dang Reservoir and the Bongsusan Natural Recreation Forest, amongst other popular tourist spots.
