One of the key attractions of the Geumodo Island Campsite is its captivating view. Positioned with the ocean and Suhangdo Island in its sights, campers can witness the sunrise from within the campsite. At night, the sky is lit with countless stars, and the lights from Yeosu city add to the scenic beauty. Thanks to the cool night air, mosquitoes are few, allowing campers to enjoy the night view without worrying about mosquito bites.
Beyond this, the public space in front of the building provides a campfire area, offering various ways to spend your evening. Alongside camping, the site also offers a guest house and glamping options. This makes it a preferred choice for large groups and solo travelers, with dormitory rooms available in the guest house. In particular, the glamping facilities allow anyone to enjoy camping, even without camping equipment, as they are fully equipped with cooking facilities.
Additionally, fishing is possible in front of the village’s breakwater. Geumodo Island is abundant with rockfish and striped beakfish.
