Located in Suip-ri, Ildong-myeon, Pocheon, the Wind Sound Mountain Camping Site is a combined auto camping and glamping site. Perched on high ground, the site offers a cool camping experience even during the hot summer months. Walk a bit downhill from the campsite, and you’ll find a stream where you can play in the clear water or catch freshwater fish. The area is abundant in trees, offering clean air and a spectacular view especially in fall, when the leaves change into a kaleidoscope of colors.
The campsite also features trees adorned with red and green lights at night, creating a beautiful scene reminiscent of Christmas Eve. The facilities within the campsite are generally clean. The restrooms and showers are in one building, creating an atmosphere similar to a public bathhouse. With its spacious facilities, ceiling fans, and wardrobe lockers, the bathhouse invokes a neat, newly-built community bathhouse vibe, and is well-received by visitors.
There are small points of interest throughout the campsite. A small fountain perfect for occasional water play, and a small vegetable garden at the back add to the charm of the site.
