Introduction
Palbongsan is a picturesque mountain located on the border of Gangwon Province and Gyeonggi Province. Despite its modest height, the mountain boasts a stunning landscape with eight aligned rock formations, making it a favorite destination for hikers. The ridgeline, resembling a spread-out folding screen, has been affectionately known as the Salt River from ancient times. The Hongcheon River, flowing on both sides of the ridgeline, offers breathtaking panoramic views from the summit. After a satisfying hike, campers can also enjoy water activities in the river. The campground is conveniently located right next to the Palbongsan parking lot, offering a clear view of the mountain peaks and the nearby flowing Hongcheon River, making it a great place for water activities.
The campground also features a futsal stadium for group tourists to engage in sports events, and an outdoor stage for performances, adding to the variety of activities offered to campers.
