Pottery Room Campground
Nestled in Jajak-dong, Jecheon City, in North Chungcheong Province, the Pottery Room Campground (가마실캠핑장) is a haven for outdoor lovers who enjoy reservoir fishing and camping. Located about 17km from Jecheon City Hall, this auto camping site can be reached by a 20-minute drive along Cheongpung Lake, North Road and Patriot Road.
Introduction
The campground offers 31 car camping sites, each equipped with a fireplace and electricity. The sizes and numbers of the sites vary, with six 3m x 3m decks, five 3m x 6m decks, and twenty 7m x 6m crushed stone spaces. Private trailers and caravans are allowed, with the fees being the same as the auto camping site. The management office provides fireplaces for free rental. Please note that pets are not allowed in the campground. Reservations can only be made by phone, and the site operates all year round.
Surroundings
There are plenty of tourist attractions around the campground, such as Uirimji Reservoir and Gyodong Folk Village. For foodies, there’s a restaurant called Gowon Galbi, where you can enjoy pork ribs and Hanwoo beef sirloin.
