Star Waterway Campground: Enjoy the Fresh Mountain Air and Cool Valley Water
Located in the heart of the serene mountains of Baekwoon, Jecheon City in North Chungcheong Province, Star Waterway Campground offers a natural getaway only approximately 26km away from Jecheon City Hall. This drive takes around 30 minutes, taking you through the beautiful landscapes of the Inner Land, Northern Territory, and Gukhak Mountain Road. Surrounded by mountains and valleys, this site provides a unique camping experience in the lap of nature.
Facilities and Reservations
The campground is equipped with 25 general camping sites. The sizes vary between 6-7m in width and 6-10m in length for the 20 crushed stone sites, and 4m in width and 6m in length for the 5 deck sites. Facilities such as braziers, electricity, and wireless internet are available for campers’ convenience. Unfortunately, private trailers and caravans are not permitted on the premises. The campground operates all year round, and reservations can be made online in real-time.
Convenience Store and Nearby Attractions
A convenience store is available on-site, selling basic food items and camping essentials such as firewood and charcoal. Please note that pets are not allowed. The campground is conveniently located close to numerous travel destinations such as the Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex and Baeron Holy Ground, making it easy for campers to explore the local attractions. A famous restaurant, Dongwon Garden, known for its charcoal-grilled chicken, is also nearby.
