Location and Facilities
The Valley Mesa camping site is located at the boundary between Pocheon in Gyeonggi Province and Cheorwon in Gangwon Province, within the Yaksa Valley resort. The site operates both a pension and a campsite. The pension consists of 5 buildings with various sizes – 59.5m², 79.3m², 39.6m², and 26.4m² – that are all perfect for accommodating different numbers of people. All the buildings are detached, offering plenty of privacy.
The camping site itself is spacious, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay even when crowded. The sites are covered with thick crushed stones, ensuring a pleasant stay regardless of the weather, be it snow or rain.
Recreation and Amenities
Visitors can freely use all the recreational facilities, including the inflatable jumpers and swimming pool. Next to the pool, there’s a vegetable garden where you can pick the vegetables you need. All the facilities are well-maintained and clean. Hot water is readily available, so you can comfortably enjoy your stay.
The campsite is located right next to a stream which is shallow enough for children to safely play in. If you have a fishing net, you can try catching fish. The most popular sites are those next to the stream, and it’s a great spot for stargazing at night.
