Getting There
To reach this serene spot, you will cross the Ganghwa Bridge and the Ganghwa Tide Embankment Bridge, passing through Hwado Public Bus Terminal and Hupo Port. As you ascend the hill, wide enough for two cars, you’ll find the management office-cum-convenience store on the left. They sell firewood and food and beverages here, making it a convenient stop for all campers.
Campsites and Amenities
There are thirty general camping sites, all of which have access to electricity. However, it’s important to note that apart from electric blankets and heating mats, other electric heating devices are not allowed. The greatest attraction of the campground is the sweeping view of the ocean in front of Ganghwa from any location. Both the daytime scenery and the sunset are a sight to behold. The campground also offers a clean shower room with a hairdryer and washstand, a toilet equipped with a bidet, and hot water is available throughout the year in all water-related facilities.
Accommodation
On the second floor of the management office, there’s a guesthouse equipped with a bed, TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, and other amenities that are on par with a pension house.
