Galron Valley Camping Site: A Refreshing Escape in the Cool Valley
Located in the heart of Chilsung-myeon, Goesan-gun, in Chungbuk, the Galron Valley Camping Site provides a relaxing escape for camping enthusiasts. A mere 14km from the Goesan County Office, it’s a quick and convenient 30-minute drive, taking you through the central part of the province and along the alternating routes of Chilsung-ro and Chilsung-ro 10-gil.
Perched within one of Goesan’s most popular attractions, the Galron Valley, this camping site offers a brilliant solution to the scorching heat of the summer: a playful dip in the refreshing valley waters. The campsite consists of 19 general camping areas, all laid with crushed stone, making it a perfect spot to set up your tent.
With tents available for rent, all you need to bring with you are utensils, cooking tools, and food for your camping adventure. During the peak summer season, flatbed rentals are also available. The cost for a spot near the valley during the peak season is 60,000 won, while in the off-season, it is 30,000 won. Please note that personal caravans and trailers are not permitted on the site.
Additional amenities include a trampoline for children, a swimming pool accessible to all ages, and sports facilities for a game of foot volleyball or badminton. A convenience store is also on-site to cater to all your camping essentials.
