Youngcheon Craft Village Camping Experience
Located in Jayang-myeon in the heart of Gyeongsangbuk-do, the Youngcheon Craft Village Camping Experience is a unique camping facility that offers the perfect blend of nature, culture, and relaxation. Getting There
The journey to the camping site from Youngcheon City Hall is a scenic 35-minute drive through the Yeongdong and Shinmangjeong intersections. The camping site, situated around Lake Youngcheon, is a remodeled abandoned school, creating a unique atmosphere unlike any other camping site.
Campsite Features
One of the two school buildings has been transformed into a management office and a store stocked with camping necessities. The other building serves as a workshop for artists. The spacious schoolyard accommodates 46 camping sites, each measuring 8m by 10m and covered with crushed stone. One of the advantages of this site is that it operates year-round, and firewood is available for campfires. Essential camping equipment like extension cords, grills, heaters, dishes, and sleeping bags can be rented from the management office. Small dogs are also welcome at the campsite.
