Welcome to Ye-Maeul Camping Site
Today, I’m excited to share with you one of Korea’s finest camping experiences at the Ye-Maeul Camping Site. Ye-Maeul translates to ‘Example Village’, and true to its name, it sets a benchmark for a unique and fun-filled camping experience.
Location and How to Get There
Located in Deokgok-myeon, Goryeong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Ye-Maeul is approximately 11 kilometers away from the Goryeong County Office. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the site, passing through Jusan Circular Road, Daegaya Road, and Deokun Road.
Experience the Fun
Upon entering Ye-Maeul, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into an amusement park. The site boasts a large water park and numerous outdoor activities that are sure to keep you entertained during your stay. Six caravans are placed around the spacious grassy field, each equipped with a bed, heating and cooling system, TV, refrigerator, cooking utensils, and other essentials for a comfortable stay. Each caravan also comes with a container that houses toilet, shower, and sink facilities. Outside, you’ll find a deck complete with a parasol and barbecue facilities.

For those looking to explore the local area, Ye-Maeul Camping Site is conveniently located near Haeinsa Temple, Hongnyudong Valley, and Gaya Mountain National Park. Head towards Gaya Mountain National Park, and you’ll find plenty of restaurants where you can enjoy delicious local cuisine.
