Stepping Stone Camping Ground
Welcome to the Stepping Stone Camping Ground, a serene haven where clear streams flow and herons glide gracefully. Nestled within the unique Doridol village, this camping site captures the essence of tranquility and the beauty of Korean nature.
Overview of Stepping Stone Camping Ground
Named after its location, the Stepping Stone Camping Ground is situated in the Doridol village. It is en route for one of the tributaries of Baekwoon Stream, surrounded by the majestic Baekwoon Mountain. The campsite has a wide and shallow valley on either side, making it a safe playground for children. Even during severe droughts, the stream never dries up, becoming a constant source of life and energy.
The camping ground boasts pristine water quality, allowing for a variety of water activities such as catching mudfish and other fish species. Apart from the valley, the surrounding nature offers stunning views and an opportunity to spot herons, adding to the natural charm of the place. Within the campsite, you can find numerous young trees. Although these trees are too young to hang hammocks on, the campground offers stands for those who wish to bring their own hammocks.
Near the camping ground, there’s an artificial waterfall at the Ddansan amusement park. The sight alone is enough to cool you down. We recommend taking a short walk to check it out. Please note that the Stepping Stone Camping Ground may close during the winter months. Do make a phone call to confirm before your visit during this period.
