Pohang Mountain Connection Auto Camping Ground – A Clean and Neat Site Near Hayok Valley
The Pohang Mountain Connection Auto Camping Ground, operated by the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education, is located in Hayok-ri, Jukjang-myeon, Pohang-si, North Gyeongsang Province. The campsite is nestled about 50km away from Pohang city hall, an approximately one-hour drive through Sumokwon-ro and Jukjang-ro roads.
The campsite features 15 general camping sites, each decked out and measuring around 8.8m by 10.7m on average. The parking space is conveniently located right next to the deck, however, you are also free to set up your tent without parking. The campsite is open every day except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Nearby, you’ll find the Hayok Valley, making it an ideal spot for connected trips. Please note that bonfires are prohibited in the interest of fire prevention.
