Oxcart Mountain National Leisure Campground
The Oxcart Mountain National Leisure Campground, otherwise known as “Suleui Mountain National Leisure Campground” in Korean, is a haven nestled within the Suleui Mountain Natural Recreation Forest. This beautiful sanctuary is situated in Saengguk-myeon, Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk, approximately 16km from Eumseong County Office. A scenic 30-minute drive through the blast furnace, Jungwon-daero, and Chasaeng-ro will lead you to this picturesque destination.
Intro
The campground is highly sought after by hikers and nature lovers due to the stunning mountainous landscape that surrounds it. With 26 car camping sites and 4 caravan camping sites available, the campground offers ample space for everyone. The ground of each site is made up of crushed stone, and the site sizes range from 72~95㎡ for standard, 96~115㎡ for large, 116~155㎡ for extra-large, and 156~208㎡ for caravan sites. Personal trailers are welcome, but pets are not permitted. The campground operates on both weekdays and weekends, with a seasonal closure from December to March. Reservations can be made online in real-time.
