National Dutasan Natural Recreation Forest

Located at the boundary of Pyeongchang County’s Jinbu-myeon and Jeongseon County in Gangwon-do, this mountainous natural recreation forest is a part of the Taebaek mountain range. Exhibiting a deep valley and well-developed mountainous terrain, the forest is abundant with pine trees. The camping site is situated across the valley from the forest’s management office. The deck set up amidst the dense pine forest by the valley offers plenty of shade, making it a cool resting spot. The valley nearby is also perfect for relaxation. The fall foliage here is particularly beautiful, drawing many visitors seasonally. A short walk along the valley from the campsite takes you to a broad flat area next to the Sabang Dam, and a little further up, there is a small waterfall.
